I was away because I went to Las Vegas with them. It was pretty fun...when we went to Circus Circus we went to the arcade thing. I won a little Duckie there. 
I named her Chickie. 
I know it's childish but it's the 1st ever thing I've ever won in a carnival game so yeah... 
I'll talk about some really awesome and horrible parts and skip the medium parts in the next blog. I really want to reply to the comments I have because those people mean a lot to me!

I'm really, really getting worried!! I just got back from Disneyland and we're here resting at home. I went and checked both my email account and I still haven't gotten the acceptance from Olivia at So-Pink so I'm like "Holy SH*T!!". I guess she didn't like my submission. 
Anyway, I didn't totally abandon this website though!! I've made 15+ textures (size: 800x600) and lots of pixels. In reality, I just made 3. But I recolored them so they're in different colors. I've also made some tutorials!
I'm also done coding my contest submission and I'm going to create a page and stuff of the free (link-ware) layouts. :D The text looks really rad too! I hope people still start coming to PlayBackk or else if I get depressed by some other reason I might 'accidentally' shut this site down like with the other websites. 
Well, anyway...we have a change of plans. We're going to rest today and tomorrow we have to go to Legoland which I'm sure is going to be for little kids. My niece and nephew are quite the bunch though! The niece is too attached to me while the nephew is a brat! I was just saying something and all of a sudden he just comes out and says "Can you shut up?!" and I'm like "Dude, you do that again see what happens when your mommy isn't looking!"

Yeah I know, random header.
Anyway, I have a few things to say. Right now, I'm still at home waiting for my 'family members' to fly over here (yeah they have wings...GET LOGIC! 
) . Read the previous update to understand a bit better.
I got bored at decided to pixel some stuff that came to the top of my head. I made different colored bunnies with stars next to them because they looked plain. And I also made doughnuts...can't a girl get hungry?? I used the pillow shading method because (for me) it's faster than finding the right places to shade and I sorta'-kinda' like pillow shading.
Also, I found So-Pink through one of my link exchange buds! Not that I'm going to apply for a subdomain, I'm already proudly hosted by Daisy with this website (thanks a bunchies, Daisy!) but I explored a bit and found out that she was letting people adopt domains she owned for free! And she was going to take care of the annual domain fee too! So I applied for the most decent available adoptable domain (she has tons but many people already took them, one of which was Overloadd.org or .net or .com or whatever and I would've LOVED to adopt that 
) and it was Magical-Love.net or .com (can't remember XD). If I get accepted for the application, I'll turn magical-love into the web design site and I'll turn this into my rant-ish blog! That sounds fair because I'd love to stay with Daisy's hosting and kindness.
I just looked at the hotel we'll be staying at and it don't see anything that says free internet connection. I'll still ask the person at the desk. Are those called concierge? Did I even spell that right?
Also, I entered a contest around a week or 2 before and now I'm 1 of the people in the last round! It'll be judged by the staff members AND visitors so please vote for me unless you see a better entry (which I'm sure you will!). I have to make a layout with a life and/or death theme. I chose Death Note, a pretty good choice. When I'm finished designing and coding it I'll have it up for grabs only for the price of a simple link back in the navigation. You can get the preview here. When voting is available, vote for the best not mine! I just wanted to mention that my entry will be that one. The render was from the same website, I'm too lazy to render Death Note images. They have lots of detail so it would've taken me hours to do just one. The texture was indeed made by me, I love the look of the texture I used, it gave the whole image more body!

I might not be online next week because I'm going to Disneyland then San Diego, and hopefully Legoland after that. (Don't judge, I'll judge for you: yes I'm childish. 
) Even though I'm bringing my laptop, the hotels might not have WiFi or you'll have to pay for it or whatever so please excuse my in activeness (inactiveness is not a word .) Besides, if they do offer free WiFi I might not have a good amount of time to make some sitely updates and just blog about random pieces of my time there. But that's not bad...for the kind people who actually care about a random 13-year-old.
For some sitely updates, I've added a new page so people can apply to be my affie. The only difference between affie and link exchange is that (depending on the website) affies are on the index page and the affies section and I talk to affies more. Well, I occasionally chat with my Link Exchange buds and I can get real chatty depending on how awesome the person is. I've checked the form, it's working perfectly. I really have to thank Emilia @ Honeylion for the code of the form using Response-O-Matic without using just one form free users at R-O-M get. View the tut, it works wonders!
I created an avatars page and changed the Resources section into Resources & GFX so I can save a few bytes of space. Lol. XD I'm going to add more avatars when I find some high quality pictures. I might even get lazy and use the renders I have as avatar bases like how I used my own render to make this layout. 
I Need Promotion!
»edits: 1. New HTML section for the tutorial content. I've added how I aligned this div layout using a tables code.
2. The pages for the tutorials have been 'refurbished' and now it shows the date it was added, an little introduction, and an overview.
3. A Kamichama Karin avatar was created so that it could match the website's layout better.
I know I'm doing this early but this is so that I won't forget because I forget easily. I've already joined some cute button rotations (lucky number 7!). I know button rotations may seem stupid and ridiculus, but at least it helps with website promotion and when I see an interesting button I tend to click on them to see their site, comment on their blog, and look for their plugboard, tagboard, link exchange, (and occasionaly) affie application if I think they seem cool. It's the same for the plugboards I've plugged my website into. This way, just by joining to things I can probably get more advertising and some new friend along the way if I think the person is cool enough and allows me to apply for affies. Haha.
I'll do more renders soon! And if you haven't noticed, there's a new Cutenews link in the tutorials section of the navigation1 There's currently 3: 2 open, and 1 waiting to be double-checked.
